Dawn at Ladie's View
After an early wakeup call I headed out from the bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Killarney, Ireland before the host or any of the other guests were awake. After frantically fighting off midges as the sun began to rise - my first encounter with them and literally one of the worst experiences I've been through yet as a photographer! - the sunlight pierced through storm clouds intermittently as I shot facing eastward, providing a dramatic play of light and shadow across the landscape.
More than an hour later, amidst spotty rain showers and the coming and going of the light, I glanced towards the north and discovered this striking rainbow rising from the valley floor.
About Print Medium Choices
FINE ART PAPER: Printed in-studio by me using pigment inks on archival, museum-quality paper chosen for each specific image. The use of pigment inks on archival paper ensures generational longevity. Each print is signed and numbered; select images may be limited edition. Will require mounting and framing upon receipt. Printed with borders to aid with mounting.
ALUMINUM: Ideal for modern installations without matte or frame. Dyes are infused directly into a specially-coated aluminum sheet to create a print with incredible luminescence, detail, and durability. My aluminum prints use a satin finish to reduce glare and reflections and provide a smooth, very even, and soft appearance. Mounting bracket included.
ACRYLIC: Ideal for modern installations without matte or frame. Beautiful fine art LexJet prints face-mounted to 1/8" plexiglass with polished edges, and backed with DiBond for a sturdy, substantial display. These prints use a lustre finish coupled with non-glare acrylic to reduce glare and reflections. Mounting bracket included.
