Along Cottonwood Canyon Road, Utah (2023) - When I first saw this tree in 2022, I felt it had great potential... if only it had foliage (my first visit was during winter). Fast foward to November 2023 and it was wreathed in glorious fall foliage. Although I generally go out of my way to avoid the inclusion of any human element in my photos, the dirt track of the road offered a chance to make a bit of a whimsical composition of this wonderful, old cottonwood.
