Initially, I did not work in black and white photography too often, however, I have found myself playing in this space more regularly over time. Monochrome photography is very creatively liberating as it grants me freedom to represent the world in a manner that otherwise may not align with my overarching principles as a photographer (namely, staying true to faithful representations of what I saw and experienced).
