NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

Photography education and inspiration in beautiful locations

Whether you’re just beginning your photography journey or looking to refine your skills, my nature photography workshops are designed to provide hands-on education, inspiration, and memorable experiences in the field. With small group sizes and personal attention, you’ll learn at your own pace in some of the most beautiful locations in the United States, from the red rock canyons of southern Utah to the foggy landscapes of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

For photographers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I also offer 1-on-1 workshops at Eagle Mountain Park, giving you the opportunity to build skills locally before heading out on bigger adventures. My focus is always on teaching, not on making my own photos, so you can expect clear instruction, real-time demonstrations, and practical tips you can apply immediately.

Whether you’re ready to join an upcoming prepackaged workshop or want to start with a local session, or would rather work with me to plan a bespoke workshop just for you, I’d love to help you grow your photography and connect more deeply with nature.

TESTIMONIALS

I don't have many recommendations yet as I just started facilitating in-field workshops in 2025, but below you'll find what I've received to-date.

I have been to two other workshops and they don’t even compare to this one. This was an amazing experience with two kind, knowledgeable and attentive instructors and a welcoming group of like-minded people. The instructors went above and beyond what was expected to insure each one got all they had hoped for and more. A super fun time!

DALLAS & FORT WORTH NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

Tailored for your needs, on your schedule

Limited to 1-2 attendees

Join me in a DFW hidden gem, Eagle Mountain Park in north Fort Worth. This small local park has been my haven over the years, and here I'll help you learn to hone your creative vision for woodland photography.

Texas woodlands can be challenging to photograph given their dense understory and scrubby trees. I'll spend time teaching you how to find opportunities to make beautiful photos that go beyond the norms of what most people expect to find in Texas.
