Look for the Light: Volume 2
Look for the Light: Volume 2 is a curated selection of 10 of my favorite photographs created between 2019 and 2022, thoughtfully selected from images that continue to resonate with me.
This collection makes it possible to collect multiple images while maintaining the same materials and print standards as my standalone Artist Series prints. It’s ideal for those who may not have the wall space for a large-format piece.
Each image is personally produced by me in my home studio on museum-quality Palo Duro Etching 315 cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks.
Edition size is limited to 50. Once sold out, this volume will not be reprinted. As of February 15, 2026, 43 editions remain.
Collectors may save when purchasing multiple volumes. Bundle discounts apply automatically in your cart.

I print every image personally in my home studio on Palo Duro Etching 315, a 100% cotton rag fine art paper chosen for its subtle texture, warm tone, and longevity. Archival pigment inks are used to ensure rich color, deep tonal range, and long-term stability when properly framed and displayed.
Every image is individually proofed and reviewed to ensure it translates faithfully from screen to print. Each print is made one at a time with careful attention to detail.
Each Look for the Light collection is produced to order and carefully assembled before shipment.
Production typically takes 3–5 business days. During this time, each print is individually produced, inspected, numbered, and placed inside the collector’s folio.
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email. All shipments are securely packaged to protect both the prints and the collector box during transit, and are fully insured for their retail value.
Complimentary shipping is included for orders within the contiguous United States. International shipping is available; customs duties, import taxes, and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

These prints are produced on museum-quality cotton rag paper and are designed for long-term indoor display when properly framed.
For best results:
- Use UV-blocking glass or acrylic
- Choose archival or acid-free mat and backing materials
- Avoid spray adhesives or heat-based mounting methods
The clean white border around each print allows for safe handling and easy matting.
To preserve surface quality, handle prints by the edges and avoid touching the printed surface. Display away from prolonged direct sunlight and high-humidity environments.

Can I purchase the images individually?
The included photographs may be available as larger standalone prints. However, the 8" x 10" format is exclusive to this limited-edition collection.

Michael Rung's "Look for the Light, Volume 2" is a masterful collection that exemplifies the profound beauty found in intimate landscape photography. This portfolio of ten photographs, presented in a meticulously crafted case with a signed certificate of authenticity, offers viewers an extraordinary journey through carefully observed moments in nature.
The presentation sets this limited edition collection apart. Michael's technical choices demonstrate his commitment to quality, with photographs printed on cotton rag paper using archival inks, ensuring exceptional visual depth and longevity. The combination of these materials brings out subtle tonal gradations and rich details that might be lost with lesser printing methods.
What truly distinguishes this collection is Michael's masterful approach to intimate landscapes. Rather than seeking out grand vistas, he finds extraordinary beauty in smaller scenes that most might overlook. His composition style draws viewers into each frame, revealing the intricate interplay of light, texture, and form that makes these moments magical.
The portfolio's title perfectly encapsulates Michael's photographic philosophy. Each image demonstrates his patient observation of how light transforms ordinary scenes into extraordinary moments. Whether it's early morning rays filtering through forest or the soft glow of evening light highlighting delicate plant forms, his timing is impeccable.
Throughout the collection, Michael maintains a cohesive vision while exploring diverse subjects. The format of the presentation allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in each scene, discovering subtle details that might be missed in smaller prints. Each photograph reveals the grandeur inherent in these closer views of nature, transforming seemingly simple subjects into powerful artistic statements.
This portfolio is a testament to the power of patient observation and technical excellence in photography. It's a remarkable achievement that would be a valuable addition to any serious art collection, offering both immediate visual impact and lasting artistic value.
A very lovely folio! Everything about it is amazing! The attention to detail is next level too. The images are beautiful, the paper is amazing, and the folio was well packed too. You can not go wrong with purchasing this folio!
A beautiful portfolio, printed on excellent paper, in the same style as his previous Volume One. Michael also produced a very interesting video that provides additional information about the pictures he has chosen for the portfolio. Highly recommended.
Simple ordering process with excellent product information.
