Warm Light, Frozen Toes

Utah (2023) - Standing in the cold water of Hackberry Creek, I gritted my teeth as I worked to compose this photo of yet another beautiful, golden cottonwood tree set against cool shadows of the canyon wall, juxtaposed with the warmer tones of reflected light in the foreground.
